Na een kort overleg werd al snel duidelijk dat we de technische staf voorkomend seizoen kunnen uitbreiden met zowel Zvonko Gibbels als ook met Honoré Loos.

Beiden zullen als goalie coach aan de TS worden toegevoegd.

Zvonko heeft al verschillende jaren deze functie bekleed, maar voor Honoré is het de eerste keer in een staffunctie.

Beide coaches hebben een berg aan ervaring en beiden hebben het keepersvak geleerd van wijlen Vaclac Sochor.

Zowel Zvonko als Honoré zijn er van overtuigd dat ze een toegevoegde waarde gaan zijn voor de goalies van de Snackpoint Eaters Limburg, niet zo zeer enkel op het technisch vlak maar meer in de ondersteuning, begripsvorming en mentale vlak.

Zvonko en Honoré zijn een verlengde vanuit de coaching staf richting de goalies en vice-versa.

“Het gaat om de puntjes op de i zetten” laten beide heren ons weten “kleine kneepjes van het vak leren“. “Het is zo dat goalies vaak als “vreemde” eend in de bijt worden gezien, maar weet wel een goalie kan bepalend zijn voor het team. Een goede goalie in 60 % van de tijd bepalend en kan wedstrijden winnen!”

“Wij weten hoe goalies denken, weten wat er in hun omgaat, en kunnen hier een bepalende factor voor hun zijn” besluiten de beide heren.

Wij als bestuur en ook de technische commissie zijn uitermate verheugd over de toezegging van Honoré en Zvonko en wensen beide heren veel succes.
