De voorbereidingen voor het nieuwe seizoen 21-22 zijn, zoals jullie weten, al in volle gang. We hopen allemaal op een mooie start in september waarbij we weer gaan genieten van dit mooie spelletje en hopelijk samen met ons trouwe publiek.

Ons bestuurslid Algemene Zaken Sjoerd Scheepens heeft aangegeven zich terug te trekken als bestuurder. Hoewel de voorbereidingen voor het nieuwe seizoen al begonnen zijn geeft Sjoerd aan dat er nog voldoende tijd is voor het nieuwe bestuurslid aan deze voorbereidingen zijn of haar draai te kunnen geven.

Sjoerd schrijft dat hij zeker verbonden blijft aan de club als supporter en hij spreekt zijn dank uit aan iedereen waarmee hij de afgelopen jaren op prettige wijze heeft samengewerkt. Een speciaal woord van dank gaat namens Sjoerd uit naar alle vrijwilligers van de club.

Vanuit de organisatie gaat ook een dikke dankjewel richting Sjoerd voor zijn bijdrage aan het ijshockey in Geleen. “We zijn dankbaar voor al het werk dat je voor de club hebt gedaan en kijken natuurlijk uit naar onze ontmoetingen op de ijsbaan”.

Middels deze weg wil ik jullie allen laten weten dat ik mij terugtrek als bestuurder algemene zaken. De voorbereidingen voor het nieuwe seizoen beginnen al behoorlijk op stoom te komen waardoor het voor mij nu het beste moment lijkt terug te treden. 

Dit om de nieuwe bestuurder alle ruimte te geven het seizoen op zijn of haar manier voor te bereiden! De komende jaren zal ik op de een of andere manier verbonden blijven aan de club, zeker weten als supporter.

Ik wil jullie allen, in het bijzondere alle vrijwilligers, waar ik de afgelopen jaren zeer prettig en goed mee heb samengewerkt bedanken!
