De Nederlandse clubs die IJshockey Nederland hebben verzocht voor toestemming om te onderzoeken of toetreding tot de Duitse ijshockeycompetitie in de Regional Liga West mogelijk is, hebben in de basis een positief antwoord gekregen.
STEL-voorzitter Ron Lahay is begrijpelijkerwijs blij met deze opstelling van IJshockey Nederland: “Na een moeilijke week biedt dit zeker perspectief. We kunnen in ieder geval weer vooruit.”
De agenda van de Eaters-preses zal de komende weken waarschijnlijk weinig gaten vertonen. Lahay: “Ik denk dat er heel wat gesprekken zullen plaatsvinden voordat we precies weten hoe het komende seizoen er voor ons uit gaat zien.
Maar de positieve houding van IJshockey Nederland, geeft moed om aan iets moois te bouwen.”
