Nog vier dagen en dan gaat het echt beginnen!! Zo lang gewacht maar zondag 5 september spelen de Eaters hun eerste oefenwedstrijd tegen Diez Rockets.
Inmiddels weten jullie dat er van deze wedstrijd een livestream is ( wedstrijd is geadopteerd door INTERTEK), gratis te volgen is voor iedereen.
We gaan beginnen met het laatste spelersnieuws.
We heten Joey Geurts welkom. Joey is 24 jaar en gaat als forward spelen met nummer 67. Mooi dat je ook dit jaar weer met je snelle rushes te zien bent op de ijsbaan Joey. Veel succes voor het komend seizoen.
De tweede nieuwe aanwinst voor Snackpoint Eaters Limburg heet Berts Rudzitis. Berts is een talentvolle speler van 19 jaar en komt uit Letland. Hij is student op de universiteit van Maastricht en ijshockey is naast zijn stevige studie voor hem een mooie uitlaatklep. Hij gaat komend seizoen als forward aan de slag met nummer 97. Van harte welkom Berts. Fijn dat je erbij bent. Veel succes.
En last but not least. Ja hoor hij is er ook dit jaar weer bij. We zijn superblij dat onze nummer negen weer gaat spelen. Welkom terug Lars van Sloun. Lars gaat spelen met zijn vertrouwde nummer 9, uiteraard als forward. Ook dit jaar gaan wij weer genieten van zijn mooie rushes over het ijs. Ook voor jou veel succes Lars.
Er zijn ook twee spelers die niet meer terugkeren op het Geleense ijs. We bedanken Yan Turcotte en Renzo Meulenbeek voor hun bijdrage aan het ijshockey in Geleen en wensen en alle succes en goeds toe voor de toekomst.
