Nog een week en dan begint het indrukwekkende oefenprogramma van Snackpoint Eaters.
Tijd dus om weer een aantal spelers bekend te maken zoals gisteren ook beloofd.
Het team onder leiding van Gints Bikars en Janis Sprukts traint op dit moment hard on- en off ice om klaar te zijn voor de start van een mooi seizoen.
Tijdens het laatste seizoen dat we ijshockey speelden maakte hij al deel uit van de selectie. Van harte welkom bij de selectie Julian Markgraaf. Julian is 20 jaar en gaat als forward spelen met nummer 19. Veel succes Julian. Fijn dat je er weer bij bent.
Daarnaast heten we Sam Taci van harte welkom. Sam is 19 jaar, komt uit het eerste divisieteam en gaat als defense spelen met nummer 8. Het gaat hier om een combinatie van wedstrijden spelen bij VJB Eaters en als het schema het toelaat in het eerste team. Veel succes het komend seizoen Sam.
We sluiten vandaag af met Luca Heutmekers, 28 jaar, forward en al jaren een vaste waarde in het eerste team. Luca speelt met zijn vertrouwde nummer 20. Fijn dat je er weer bij bent Luca. Ook voor jou veel succes. Menige tegenstander zal jou ook het komend seizoen vaker tegenkomen dan hem lief is!!
Wannes Moons, onze Belgische verdediger die twee seizoenen geleden voor de Eaters speelde heeft vanwege de combinatie met zijn studie besloten te gaan spelen voor een andere club. We bedanken Wannes voor zijn bijdrage aan de Eaters en wensen hem veel succes bij zijn nieuwe club en natuurlijk met zijn studie. Wellicht zien we hem ooit nog eens terug op Geleens ijs in Eaterskleuren. Succes Wannes!
