Gisteren heeft onze sympathieke #41 bij bestuur en team aangekondigd dat hij stopt met ijshockey. Hij neemt daarmee afscheid op een van zijn hoogtepunten van zijn carrière, zoals hij in hieronder in eigen woorden uitlegt.

Van deze markante persoonlijkheid, die in de relatief korte tijd dat hij bij Laco Eaters speelde toch zo’n belangrijke rol heeft gespeeld, wordt op een later moment op passende wijze afscheid genomen!

Brad’s boodschap voor Eaters en fans:

"After much thought I realized that there could be no better way to leave the game of hockey other than how I left the ice Sunday. Inger and the kids, friends, ex-team mates and work colleagues at the rink.

Also being part of a game with so much meaning and purpose. Also watching our team play as the warriors they were dressed as and battling for that win was inspiring.

I take only positive memories and beautiful friendships with me as I leave. Thank You for making being a hockey player so exciting and rewarding. I truly cherished every minute inside the #41.

When I married my wife, I joined her family in Geleen. When they all came to the rink Sunday, they joined mine.

Thank You to everyone in the Eaters Organization and all supporters from top to bottom. It's been a wonderful experience!”
